MEET KILAKILA - TOKYO PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Aloha! My name is Kilakila Parnell, a Japanese - American portrait photographer based in Tokyo since 2021. I was born right here in Tokyo and was raised in beautiful Maui, Hawaii. I made the decision to pursue photography full-time after my first year of college and haven't looked back since.

I specialize in natural style portrait photography capturing couples, individuals and families for occasions from casual portraits to engagements. I offer photo tours to help my clients explore Japan through a native lens and provide them with memories to last a lifetime. My favorite part of the job is getting to know my clients, and to create images that capture the essence of who you are in a beautiful and timeless way. I believe in providing a experience that caters to my clients' specific needs. No two people are the same, so why should your photoshoot be any different? I strive to create images that make you smile every time you see them. My photoshoot sessions are held in various spots around Tokyo, using natural light to create natural and candid images.
